Sarah Anne Jones is a British actress and producer better than the stage name Suranne Jones. Suranne Jones is an actress and producer from the UK. Suranne Jones became famous for her performance as Ruth Slater, the detective in a procedural police drama 'Scott & Bailey and in addition to Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical thriller 'Doctor Foster.' Born in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones was a member of the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from there.
